How to ensure the curing quality of uv ink?Do a good job of ink balance control.
In the offset printing process, the uv ink shows weak polarity. If the ink balance control
is not good, it is very easy to emulsify, causing the ink film to become opaque, which
directly affects the transmittance of uv light, thus slowing down the curing speed of uv ink,
causing the ink film to remain incomplete curing after its formation. In this case, if the
printed matter is tortured and rubbed or the tape is used to pull its surface image and text,
the printed matter surface will be scratched or brushed. Therefore, it is one of the important
factors to control the ink balance in the printing process to ensure the curing quality of uv ink.
How to ensure the curing quality of uv ink?Keep the workshop temperature and humidity
appropriate. During the printing process, the change of workshop temperature and humidity
will affect the performance of uv ink and substrate. For example, when the workshop temperature
is low and the humidity is high, the uv ink has a slow photocuring reaction, and its binding
ability with the substrate will also be reduced. Therefore, when printing with uv ink, the temperature
and humidity of the workshop must be controlled within an appropriate range. Generally,
the workshop temperature should be controlled at 20~25 and the relative humidity
should be controlled at 50%~65%.
How to ensure the curing quality of uv ink?It is an important prerequisite to ensure the uv light
intensity of the uv lamp, and select and install the uv lamp with appropriate power according to
the printing speed and product type. The uv light intensity of the uv lamp directly affects the curing
time of the uv ink, which is also a key factor affecting the internal hardenability of the ink film.
When the uv light intensity becomes low, even if the accumulated light amount is increased by
increasing the irradiation time, the hardenability inside the ink film cannot be improved,
so the uv lamp tube that exceeds the actual service life cannot completely cure the uv ink.
